Gamification in Learning: A Quick Overview

Gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. It involves incorporating elements such as point scoring, competition, rules of play, and rewards into activities to engage participants and encourage desired behaviors. Gamification in learning refers to the integration of game-like elements into educational activities and instructional design. Video games were my life growing up, so finding gamification in learning was a wonderful treat to me. Instead of feeling like a chore, learning becomes fun and engaging.
