Powerful Learning, Powerful Leadership: Work in Action!
I work in an enviroment that offers Linkedin Learning to everyone. You can use it anything but it cannot interfere with your work. I consider Linkedin Learning to be a fantastic resource. I use to gave a subscription before I was told by my sister the library offer sit for free if you have a library card. So whether at work or on my own time, I spend time on the website. I mostly use it to learn about Instructional Design and Video and Audio Editing.
I believe the best informal learning comes from peer to peer. This happens at my work with Slack and Zoom meeting that are regularly scheduled. If you have any problem, you can pop it into the slack or ask it in the meeting. I have found that my colleagues have provided more relevant help than leadership who doesn't handle the same tasks that I do. The slack and meetings are also used to interact with each out and update with recent life information. It was due to these discussions I decided on getting Maple, my cat.
At my work, we blend standardized and personalized learning into our customer service. We begin with uniform training to create a foundation of service protocols, product knowledge, and customer interaction skills. This ensures consistency in the Chewy customer experience.
However, every agent learns differently. Some may need additional support, so I an available for agent to reach out to whenever they need help. This personalized help builds confidence in the agent and accelerates the customer experience.
This balance of standardized and personalized approaches doesn't just help agents – it ensures each customer receives the excellent service Chewy is known for. This strategy has significantly improved agent performance, customer satisfaction scores, and overall efficiency within our customer service operation.
